Welcome. Thank you for purchasing this book. I know you’re looking for something — perhaps the solution to a problem or a different perspective that teaches you something new.

My goal for Your Book His Life is that you just don’t read it, but you use it.

Your Book His Life is a textbook that is a handbook for young Black males 6 years of age to 25 years and beyond. Its content is based on my experiences which I have poured into these chapters to provide you with actionable steps, not just theory. However, YBHL primarily serves as a reference book for single mothers who are ready for a new approach to developing their sons into strong responsible Black men.

My ultimate objective is to assist you through their parenting journey.            

Parents should be able to convince their sons that success is attitude and effort. We are requesting that they allow us to help lead them to accomplishment while  impressing upon them that they are safe, valued and cared for.

Those who have taken on the challenge of developing a young Black man in this society must realize that they have been marginalized and their self -image has been deformed.  If anything, I would like to create a comfortable level of relatability between the mother, her son and understanding this textbook.
